A publication on the relationship between myself and my trusty robot vacuum cleaner. Due to my dust mite allergy, the vacuum cleaner has become an indispensable companion, constantly by my side. Its programmed cycles through my house have inspired me to view them as a form of score, similar to a recipe for performances.

The trend of humanising objects, particularly robots, has gained popularity in recent times. However, I found myself unable to extend this sentiment to my vacuum cleaner. Devoid of a name, and despite my attempts to capture its movements through camera recordings, it remained an unassuming machine without the endearing qualities of a cute creature. It was during this realisation that I came to understand that I am, in fact, the true protagonist within the recordings. The manual, which I meticulously follow each time to activate my robot, serves as my personal score.

To create an immersive experience for the viewer, I have reimagined the manual. When read aloud, its words transform the reader into the very essence of the robot, creating a sense of unity between human and machine. This innovative modification encourages introspection into the nature of our interactions with technology and how we shape our identities through our actions. Experience the harmonious symphony of our coexistence and contemplate the dynamics that unfold when we merge with the technology that surrounds us.
