Elegant, functional and lucid design by a designer who was committed to the assignment and the people involved. Myrna devoted more than skills to the project. The scope of the project, spreading from website to printed material, showed devotion to detail, understanding of the layered communication goals and considerable design skills. It really proved to be a work of love.

Every six years, the academy must test the level for accreditation. I have been asked to design these publications. The publications consists of three different parts. First the alumni section, in which the performance of the graduates plays a major role. The second major part is the textual report, which describes the Fine Art & Design courses and the academy. To support these texts, there is a third booklet with diagrams that make structures clear, to visually clarify the complex information. By using different parts, the reader can choose in which order the information can be read.
The online environment of this report should also support the independent qualities of the print. That is why the textual document has a split screen, to be able to navigate from text to attachment and vice versa.
The design is a language that provides substantive textual clarification. Three major elements are present within the academy throughout the entire study, namely; majors, practices and stations. These directions are linked to colors and are used in text and images when they are about the subject in question.
I have been involved in this project in terms of content, form, structure and design. Thanks to the success of this project, I have been able to design a similar publication for the WdKA teacher training course.
